thx that means a ton fr, this is def part of a bigger idea that comes from a specific melody thats been stuck in my head for i shit u not prolly over a decade at this point. But i'd probably drive myself insane trying to capture exactly what i'm hearing in my head so it's better to just release something that sounds good enough imo and doesn't consume a huge chunk of my life ya know lol. If youve ever heard of "Tubular Bells" by Mike oldfield. He had a similar obsessive quirk and couldn't even listen to the song for decade after he'd released it because he went nuts trying to perfect it. I took piano lessons when I was about 7-ish (I'm 16 so that's not really a long time ago for me) for about a month and haven't taken any since. Honestly I don't exactly have what one might call "training" or "qualifications" or "any idea of music theory", I just have fun making songs because the end result makes my brain make happy chemicals, and that's enough reason for me haha. Thanks for the compliment though! It means a lot :).
