Cupcake Nation {LoFi} definitely has some mixing issues. the drums, along with the piano melody are way louder than the chords/pads in the background.
another thing, i think itd be a good idea to make the bass instrument audible. i can hear the upper harmonics of it, so i know it should be there, but i had to really turn it up to tell you tried to add anything.
i dont particularly love the snare, but thats more personal taste, you dont need to worry on that.
onto what i do like, the progression is nice! and i think the melody works fine with this! its just mostly mixing issues, that id expect are coming from being newer to production?
but yeah, this isnt bad, man! just needs some work with mixing mostly.
